V8s
SEC students travelled to the Triple Crown V8 Supercars for the Friday practice session. As part of the Students on Track Program, there were opportunities to explore Pit Lane and meet the drivers, and to see the mechanical crews working. The highlight of the day for many students was watching the trick cars demonstrating burnouts and drifts on the track.

Lip dub
To help promote the school values of Compassion, Responsibility, Respect, Integrity, and Team Work, all of SEC students worked together to create a lip dub. After completing a series of lessons on each of the values the senior students then chose songs they believe represented the values.

Taminmin musical
On Thursday, 20 June SEC traveled to see ‘All Shook Up’ the new musical comedy built around a number of songs made famous by Elvis Presley. It takes place in a small town in 1955, where one girl's dream and a surprise visit from a mysterious leather-jacketed, guitar-playing stranger help a small town to discover the magic of romance and the power of rock & roll. Among the 24 songs featured in the score are classics like "Heartbreak Hotel" "Love Me Tender" "Can't Help Falling in Love" and of course the title tune. Student enjoyed the performance and the picnic in the village green after the show.

SEC-tacular Sports Day
We are looking forward to catching up with the students from Pathways and Taminmin SEC. Hoping to see lots of our families attending. We will publish photos as we get them.
Bunnings
As part of community access students travelled to Bunnings where they made various projects with the support of Bunning staff. Using a variety of materials including wire and paper mâche students created rabbits for Easter.
